The workshop
One person, one workshop.
Finial Design is one person and a workshop in an old log house in Loviisa, on the south coast of Finland. There is no showroom: pieces are sourced, rewired, photographed and packed here, and go to designers and collectors in the United States, Europe and Japan.
Documented
Every piece is checked against the original factory catalogues and museum records. Where a designer is not recorded, the listing says so.
Rewired
Cleaned and rewired in the workshop before it leaves Finland. The wiring line on each listing says what was done.
